Did you know that Tiffany & Co. gave Tanzanite it's name?  A name as exotic as it's African origin.  Gem quality tanzanite come from just one place on earth- the Merelani area in Tanzania.  This purple-ish blue beauty holds a unique color compared to amethyst (primarily purple) and sapphire (which is traditionally blue).  In this ring, the trillion shaped tanzanite is set against crisp white gold and just a few strategically placed diamonds to draw the eye.
