Pear Opal & Diamond Accent Ring

The Fun:

Opals are the bomb...IYKYK.  Unlike other gems like ruby, aquamarine and pearl, they are formed in the earth in a completely unique way.  This dramatic feat of nature gives us play-of-color, which is the diffraction of white light when it interacts with opal's internal structure.  In other words, it's the fire of orange, blue, red & green that we see in opals.  This precious ring's opal is predominantly white with flashes of red and orange.
