Opal Flower Necklace

The Fun:

I can't remember the last time I saw a piece of jewelry with such fine, intricate goldwork.  This necklace is truly one of a kind...I imagine a kind goldsmith forging the gold in his teeny studio.  The opals are the definitely the right choice of gem for this piece as they are not overwhelming the daintiness.  It's unique...yet how to put into words a description?  I can't, you'll just have to see it for yourself.

14K yellow gold opal necklace. 2.38 grams.  Set are 6 pear opals.  Chain is 17 inches in length.
