Mystic Topaz Ring

The Fun:

Mystic topaz is a quirky little gem.  If you're not familiar, topaz comes out of the earth in a myriad of shades and tones.  It is very often treated with heat to achieve other colors...enter mystic topaz!  This gem boasts so many flashes of color - purple, green and flecks of fuschia are prominent and the overall effect is a dizzying rainbow.  I really appreciate the hexagon shape in this particular ring, it's a unique little feature that I don't recall seeing in mystic topaz before.  Fun all around!

14K yellow gold mystic topaz ring.  5.5 grams.  Set is one hexagon cut mystic topaz, 10mm & round brilliant cut diamonds, .05pts, VS clarity, HIJ color.  Ring size 8.
