Freeform Tanzanite Necklace

The Fun:

This tanzanite necklace brings to mind one word: art.   In my mind, an artisan had a vision.  He or she set out to create a necklace that had form, function, beauty and earthiness all combined.  I appreciate the 'branches' of white gold which are asymmetrical and random.  And somehow I can't imagine any other gemstone to be chosen here...the soft violet hue is so great.  While this isn't a piece that I personally would describe as 'everyday', I feel like it would be reached for often.  Because it's just that quintessential combination of gorgeousness!

The Technical:

18K white gold tanzanite pendant on a 14K white gold box chain.  7.0 grams.  Set are oval cut tanzanites, est. .75 total carat weight & round brilliant cut diamonds, .03pts, SI clarity, GH color.  Pendant is 1 inch in length & chain is 18 inches in length.
