Fancy Cut Amethyst Necklace

The Fun:

I haven't seen an amethyst cut so intricately in a long time!  This is known as a fantasy cut...in this case it's a hand shaped trillion with unsymmetrical sides.  Then the cutter fashioned curved bands into the gem, this is the striped effect you see from the front of the stone.  It's fantastic!  Truly a bespoke cut sure to elicit comments of "where'd you get that???"  Don't worry...there really is only one so once you scoop it, you'll be the only one to have it!

The Technical:

10K yellow gold amethyst pendant. 4.4 grams. One fancy cut amethyst, 16x14mm. Pendant is 1 inch in length & chain is 18 inches in length.
