The jewelry shows we attend are, in one word, overwhelming. The convention center in Las Vegas is over 2 million square feet. If my math is right, that’s 45 football fields full of jewelry. And jewelry is small! Each booth has hundreds if not thousands of glittering pieces of jewelry and there are thousands of booths. How do we choose what to bring home to Kelowna & cjex.net? Read our thoughts on these three pieces from a recent show:
I adore the combination of subdued black & brilliant white diamonds. This necklace features both in a soft, fluid design. I think of it as a modern twist on the circle. The teardrop shape is universally flattering on everyone & just a bit unique. I would wear this practically everyday but more than likely with a vibrant colored top rather than black and white. It begs a showcase of aqua or fuchsia to really make it sing.
This is one of my most desired halo engagement rings for simplicity in design. The halo is literally hugging around the pear shaped diamond so from a distance, it just looks HUGE! The diamond is like a violent explosion of fire & ice (kudos to the brilliant diamond cutter!). I can only imagine daily compliments and lots of “oohing” & “ahhing”. But my favorite part are the strings of diamonds leading up to the halo. It is simply the icing on the cake.
I take full credit for this ring being in our inventory. I literally couldn’t put it down. There’s so many great things about this halo engagement ring. The crossover effect of the halo diamonds is just mesmerizing. It kind of reminded me of a roller coaster to be honest! The overall effect is a slightly oval bloom of diamonds around the center diamond. The split band finishes it off to be wide & yet feminine as well. This ring typically holds a 1 carat center diamond but can be ordered to fit any size diamond, which is great if you are working with a specific diamond or budget. Love it!
