We are all mourning the end of Summer 2014. We had a good run, especially here in the Okanagan. For those of you in the area, we had amazing weather & lots of hot, sultry days. We enjoyed boating on the lake (Kalamalka lake is our fav), golf at world class courses & many a BBQ with good friends. September 1st hit and there was a definite chill in the air. Time to start thinking about fall fashion! Dil is covering this topic in more detail next week but this week I wanted to share with you a specific trend for fall 2014 – geometric designs. While 2013 showed lots of fluid lines, 2014 is edgy and yet still feminine. We adore the strong shapes and fresh gems. Our current favorites are:
This is one of my FAVORITE pieces from the Las Vegas jewelry show. The blue topaz is electrifying and the halo of diamonds is the perfect size. I adore that the blue topaz is geometric but not symmetrical. Cap it off with a strong double band. Yummy!
Is anything more versatile and enduring than a pair of diamond earrings? A modern twist on the classic diamond earrings, these elongated strings of diamonds are sure to elevate your every look. Perfect for a casual daytime look or a fancy evening out. .89 total carat weight, I clarity, GH color.
Cool mint green plays beautifully with so many fall colors. Our favorite is greys (from light silver to deep charcoal), rich chocolate and for a fun twist, cobalt!
This diamond necklace has a Japanese-esque feel to it (in my opinion). I love the strong lines and no fuss wear ability of this piece. I think it would make a wonderful addition to the working woman’s wardrobe. A classic yet modern piece to pull the work outfit together.
From our friends at Gabriel & Co, this fun diamond encrusted necklace has been creating waves at CJEX. Dil is determined to order it in yellow gold & Sabrina wants the white gold. We all think it would look great layered with other shapes and lengths.
This rose gold and diamond ring is smooth, square and easy peasy to wear. The diamonds are set low and snag-free and we love how the two textures bypass each other.
Don’t forget to look through our vast inventory to find your favorites…every single piece we have in stock is displayed at www.cjex.net. Enjoy!
